Dani Holgado emerged victorious in a thrilling Moto2 battle against Dani Muñoz at the Brazilian Grand Prix, held at the Ayrton Senna circuit in Goiânia.
The duo broke away from the pack in the latter half of the race. With just three laps remaining, Muñoz launched an attack at Turn 10, briefly taking the lead. However, Holgado swiftly reclaimed the top spot at Turn 1 at the start of the subsequent lap.
As the race drew to a close, Muñoz's pace dropped, allowing Holgado to pull ahead and secure his first win of the season.
Muñoz's second-place finish marks his best-ever result in Moto2, while Manuel González rounded out the podium in third, having overtaken Alex Escrig just before the finish line.
