Tottenham suffered a complete meltdown this afternoon in London, falling 3-0 to Nottingham Forest. The Spurs now find themselves teetering on the brink of relegation to the Championship. With this crucial victory, Forest leapfrogged the Lilywhites into 16th place with 32 points, while Igor Tudor's side plummeted to an embarrassing 17th, just one point clear of West Ham, who currently occupy the first relegation spot.

Tottenham's remaining fixtures include Sunderland, Brighton, Wolves, Aston Villa, Leeds, Chelsea, and Everton. Given their current dismal form, it would be no surprise if they find themselves playing in the second tier next season.

Forest simply ran riot today. The Tricky Trees took the lead right at the end of the first half when Igor Jesus, following a masterful cross from Neco Williams, outjumped the Spurs defense to head past Vicario.

It was expected that Tottenham would come out much more aggressively in the second half, pushing Forest back into their own box. However, the exact opposite occurred; Morgan Gibbs-White unleashed a rocket in the 63rd minute, which, with a slight deflection off the crossbar, doubled their lead to 2-0. Taiwo Awoniyi then sealed the emphatic 3-0 victory in stoppage time.

This win in the English capital represents a massive step towards survival for Forest, while Tottenham, on the other hand, finds themselves in an extremely precarious situation. It's arguably the most uncomfortable position the club has been in during its recent history...

Tottenham's only saving grace is their early exit from the Champions League, allowing them to fully focus on their fight for survival. One can only imagine the chaos if they were still battling on two fronts...
