Tottenham has officially lodged a complaint with the PGMOL, expressing their dissatisfaction with recent refereeing decisions. This move comes after their last two matches against Arsenal and Fulham. The letter highlights the London club's general concerns regarding how officials have treated them, specifically citing incidents involving penalties and disallowed or allowed goals.
One example Tottenham provided was from their game against Arsenal, where Kolo Muani scored to make it 2-2, but the referees disallowed the goal, deeming he had fouled Gabriel. Another instance cited was Harry Wilson's goal against Fulham, where the Welshman appeared to handle the ball prior to scoring, but the officials failed to call it.
As of yet, the English Committee of Referees has not commented on Tottenham's letter.
