The Grove-based squad officially unveiled their livery for the upcoming campaign yesterday, but the FW48 itself had yet to make its debut. However, Williams has now released footage of their new car, sporting its special colors, undergoing a shakedown at Silverstone earlier today.
This move is an attempt by the team to at least partially make up for the lost preparation time last week. Furthermore, this shakedown is crucial for Williams to ensure everything on the car is functioning correctly, avoiding any unexpected surprises at the start of the first of two official tests in Bahrain next week.
