The iconic venue of the world's most popular MMA organization, UFC APEX, is getting a new name as a result of its deepening partnership with tech giant Meta.

The news was announced Wednesday morning by UFC CEO Dana White. He confirmed that the facility will henceforth be known as Meta APEX.

The UFC Apex arena became a primary stage for numerous organizational events after the UFC resumed operations during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. It hosts a significant portion of the Fight Night series galas, Dana White's Contender Series show, bouts from "The Ultimate Fighter" reality format, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments.

The newly renamed Meta APEX arena will continue to host all these events. It will also be joined by the Zuffa Boxing series, which is set to launch on January 23rd with a main event featuring Callum Walsh against Carlos Ocampo.

The partnership between UFC and Meta dates back to 2025. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is known as a passionate mixed martial arts fan and frequently attends major events. He even cornered Alexander Volkanovski during his featherweight title fight against Ilia Topuria at UFC 298.
