Roma are set to bring in another forward in the coming days, having already secured 18-year-old Robinho Vaz from Marseille. The new target is Donyell Malen, who will arrive from Aston Villa, according to reports in Italy.

The Giallorossi have reportedly reached an agreement with the Birmingham club for a loan deal worth £2 million for the Dutch international. The deal includes an obligation to buy for an additional £25 million in the summer, contingent on Roma qualifying for a European club competition next season. The 26-year-old is expected to undergo his medical tomorrow, after which he will sign a contract extending until the summer of 2030. Malen spent just one year at Aston Villa following his €25 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund. During his time with the English club, he made 46 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing 2 assists.
