Bulgarian Formula 2 driver Nikola Tsolov secured 15th place in the free practice session for the final round of the 2025 season, held in Abu Dhabi.
The Campos Racing driver clocked his best lap at Yas Marina with a time of 1:40.389. This put the 'Bulgarian Lion' 0.844 seconds behind Jak Crawford, who topped the standings with a 1:39.545. Trailing the American in the top three were Gabriele Mini and Tsolov's Campos teammate Arvid Lindblad, who were 0.085 and 0.096 seconds adrift of Crawford, respectively.
All three drivers set their best times in the closing minutes of the practice session, during which Tsolov was unable to improve on his earlier performance. The 45-minute session passed without incident for the Bulgarian, who completed a total of 19 laps.
The final Formula 2 weekend of the season continues at 1:00 PM Bulgarian time with qualifying, which will determine the starting grid for both the sprint and main races at Yas Marina.
