Arsenal star Declan Rice went to great lengths to avoid being photographed upon his arrival at the Fashion Awards in London, as he shared a taxi with renowned presenter Cat Deeley.
On Monday evening, the 26-year-old footballer arrived at the Royal Albert Hall alongside 49-year-old Deeley, who recently announced her separation. Rice appeared keen to maintain a low profile, a stark contrast to the "This Morning" presenter who happily posed for photographers.
En route to the event, the England international midfielder ducked his head inside the vehicle in a clear attempt to hide. Even after their arrival, Rice kept his distance from Deeley, covering his face with his hands. The pair, accompanied by a group of friends, shared the same car to attend the awards.
Later, both attended the L'Oreal Paris after-party, a company with which Rice has a commercial partnership. However, the footballer's demeanor changed dramatically on the red carpet, where he appeared cheerful and dapper in a black suit, posing for photographers.
It's worth noting that Cat Deeley announced her separation from her husband in July after 13 years of marriage, clarifying that no third party was involved. Declan Rice, for his part, has been in a long-term relationship with Lauren Fryer, with whom he has been together since they were 17.
