Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola offered an emotional take on his team's thrilling 5-4 victory over Fulham in their 14th Premier League match, also taking a moment to acknowledge Erling Haaland's historic achievement.

The Norwegian striker for the 'Citizens' netted his 100th goal in the English top flight. He reached this milestone faster than anyone else in the league's history, doing so in just 111 matches.

"If you had told me he would score 100 goals in 111 games, I would have asked you: 'Are you serious? In this league?'" Guardiola stated.

When asked if Haaland is the greatest striker in Premier League history, the Spanish tactician responded cautiously.

"I don't know. There have been many great strikers in this country. He is one of them, but he is not the best. It's a matter of statistics, and his numbers are undeniable. I'm happy for him and for the team playing for him on this special day," Pep commented.

Appearing in the post-match press conference, Guardiola smiled at reporters and said: "Well, did you enjoy it? Me? I've lost my hair. This is the Premier League. In another league, you can keep things under control. Here, I have no answer."
