After several months on the market, Phil Foden's house has finally sold for £3 million, approximately €3.4 million, a figure slightly below what the Manchester City midfielder initially sought.
The England international's property, located in Cheshire, boasts a private cinema, indoor pool, jacuzzi, bar, gym, and five bathrooms. It had been listed for over six months at £3.25 million. According to the Daily Mail, the agency handling the sale, Jackson-Stops, confirmed that the sale is "subject to contract."
Also according to the Daily Mail, Foden decided to part with the luxurious mansion after neighbors called the police to the residence in August during a party.
The 25-year-old midfielder had already relocated with his family to a more secluded residence.
“They are a lovely family, and Phil and Rebecca seem like dedicated parents. It’s a shame they’ve moved; it was nice to see a Premier League footballer walking around here. I saw them riding with Ronnie on a bike he got for Christmas, and they looked like a young family having fun. There were some noisy parties, but nothing compared to the disturbance caused by Walker and his wife with their shouting arguments,” a neighbor told the Daily Mail.
The 'Walker' mentioned is Kyle Walker, Foden's former teammate at City and current Burnley player.
The moving process began in August 2024, when a party at Phil Foden's house prompted a call to authorities. One neighbor described the noise as "louder than Glastonbury," the renowned English festival. Another resident claimed it felt like being in a nightclub.
This wasn't the first time the City footballer faced such a situation. In 2022, he also drew complaints after hosting a party at home on Mother's Day.
