The English football world has been rocked by the news that a well-known agent allegedly threatened a Premier League star with a gun on a street in North London. The identity of the footballer who endured this nightmare has been revealed as Tottenham defender Destiny Udogie.

The incident, initially reported by the British newspaper "The Sun," describes how the 20-year-old player, valued at an estimated £60 million, was threatened while on a main city street with a friend.

Authorities reacted swiftly. Two days after the incident, police arrested the suspect at his home. Although he was released on bail, he was subjected to restrictive conditions, including a restraining order against the victim, and his passport was confiscated.

Tottenham indirectly confirmed the event after their Champions League match against Copenhagen, where the 22-year-old full-back played as usual. In a brief statement, the London club said: "As this is a legal matter, we cannot comment further."

A police spokesperson provided further details on the case: "Police were called at 11:14 PM on Saturday, September 6th, following reports that a man, aged around 20, had been threatened with a firearm."

"Officers spoke with the victim, and during their investigation, it was also reported that another man, aged around 20, had allegedly been blackmailed and threatened by the same individual. No injuries were reported in either incident. A 31-year-old man was arrested on Monday, September 8th, on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent, blackmail, and driving without a license. He has been released on bail as investigations continue."
