West Ham have signed goalkeeper Mads Hermansen from Leicester City for around £20 million. The Danish international has agreed to a five-year contract with the London club. The 25-year-old had a strong season last year, despite the Foxes' relegation from the Premier League.
The Hammers were searching for a goalkeeper following the departure of Lukasz Fabianski. Hermansen will compete with Alphonse Areola for the starting spot next season. The Dane spent two years at Leicester after joining from Brøndby in the summer of 2023. He is West Ham's fifth summer signing.
